STOCKPORT GIN SCHOOL

We would love for you to join us for an immersive experience at our Gin School in the heart of Stockport Town Centre.

Located upstairs, above the distillery, our Gin School gives you the opportunity to come and learn all about the history and processes of distilling whilst you create your very own unique 70cl bottle of gin.

Our Gin School experience will be a small group experience, limited to 6 stills, to ensure that everyone attending gets a unique and intimate experience here at Stockport Gin.

We will welcome you in with a double G&T and let you sit and relax whilst we tell you all about the history of gin, about us, who we are, how we got started and then give you a full tour of our distiillery!

We will then show you upstairs to the Gin School where you'll be seated at your very own still, ready for the real fun to begin!

You'll be briefed on the process of making your own gin and then given the opportunity to select your own botanicals from the wide range available. Help will be on hand from our expert distiller to help with the selection process and once that is done, the distilling will begin.

Whilst your gin is distilling, you'll enjoy another G&T as well as samples of our full range of gin whilst getting the chance to ask any questions you might have.

Once the distilling process is over, you will then carefully blend your gin before bottling it in a 70cl bottle and labelling it, having given it a unique name. Finally, before heading home with your new creation, you'll get the chance to enjoy it as a Gin and Tonic and share tasting notes with the rest of the group.

PLEASE NOTE

The Gin School experience is strictly for those aged 18 and over only. Please don't be offended if we ask you for proof of age if you look younger than 25!

Unfortunately, due to the location of our Gin School being above the distillery and accessed up a flight of stairs, we regret to inform you that it is not suitable for those who require the use of a wheelchair or with mobility issues that struggle to climb stairs. Email us on bookings@stockport-gin.com with any questions regarding this.

We advise that anyone attending our Gin School does not drive to the event as you will be enjoying 3 double gin and tonics plus tasters as part of the event. Our distillery is easily accessible by public transport. for those that do choose to drive, soft drinks are available on request.

We try our best to ensure The Loft @ Stockport Gin is a comfortable space to enjoy the experience in. However, in the colder months it can be cool up there, so we advise wrapping up warm!

Our Gin School is set up in 2 groups of 3 stills, so on the event that your experiecnce is fully booked, you may end up sat slightly apart from people you attend with. Don't worry though, it's not too far so you'll still be able to chat and enjoy the experience together!

CANCELLATION POLICY

All Gin School bookings are non-refundable.

In the unfortunate event that you cannot attend your booking we will happily transfer you to an alternative date. However, we require a minimum of 7 days notice. Unfortunately, we cannot transfer bookings with less than 7 days notice before the event.

GIFT VOUCHERS

At this time, Gift Vouchers are not available for our Gin School.
