Q: Do i need to bring my ticket with me?
A: No, there is no need to print off a ticket for our events. Please just bring proof of purchase on your mobile device.
Q: I am driving / I don't drink - do I have to drink gin?
A: No, we definitely wouldn't recommend partaking in our events if you are driving. We suggest you leave your car at home when joining us for one of our events.
If you are driving, or if you would prefer not to drink, we can provide soft drinks instead - please inform us when booking as we do not operate as a fully stocked bar but can accommodate your requirements if possible.
Q: I really don't like tonic, can I have lemonade instead?
A: Yes of course, just let us know your preference on arrival.
Q: Are children allowed to come to your events?
A: No, unfortunately not. All attendees must be 18 or over.
Q: Will I need ID?
A: If you are lucky enough to look under 25, please be prepared to show ID on arrival.
Q: Can I book as a stag / hen party / group booking?
A: We do not accept stag / hen parties or large groups at our events. If you wish to take part in one of our events as a large group please email us before you book on firstname.lastname@example.org and we can discuss your options with you.
Q: Is the distillery bar wheelchair accessible?
A: Our distillery is wheelchair accessible but please do let us know before booking if you require wheelchair access, or have any other specific requirements, so we can accommodate your requirements and make your experience with us as enjoyable as possible. Our distillery is limited on space too so we will need to make amendments to the seating arrangements/capacity.
Our upstairs event space though, is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible as it is accessed via stairs from the Ground Floor up to the First Floor. If you are booking an event and have any specific requirements for mobility and access, please get in touch before booknig so that we can assist you and let you know of any restrictions.
Q: Can I book a private event?
A: We can offer events to larger groups if required. For more information on this please contact us on email@example.com.
Q: What if I need to cancel?
A: All events are non-refundable and non-transferable.
As the events we host here are specific to the set dates, we are unable to transfer bookings to alternative events. However, if you are unable to attend, you are able to transfer your ticket to friends or family but please let us know of this in advance.
Q: I want to buy an event ticket as a gift but I do not know which date they will want to come, what can I do?
A: As our events only run on individual dates with differing themes, we are unable to offer vouchers for our events. If you do want to gift an event to someone, you will need to chose the event and date at the time of booking.
Q: Is car parking available?
A: There are a number of pay & display bays, and public carparks located very close to the distillery, using postcode SK1 1EB. However, we do not recommend driving to any of our events!
Q: I am getting public transport - how do I get there?
A: We are a very short walk from Stockport train station, and Stockport bus station. The distillery location is SK1 1EB.
Q: If travelling from outside Stockport can you recommend anywhere to stay overnight?
A: Yes we can, there are a number of good hotels located nearby, please get I touch and we will send you the details.
Q: Where can I go to eat / drink, before or after the event?
A: Stockport's food and drink scene is rapidly growing, if you get in touch we can recommend somewhere!
