DISTILLERY TOUR FAQ'S
See below a list of frequently asked questions for our distillery tours...
Q: I am driving / I don't drink - do I have to drink gin?
A: No, we definitely wouldn't recommend partaking in the gin tasting or G&T's if you are driving.
If you are driving, or if you would prefer not to drink, we can provide soft drinks instead - please inform us when booking.
Q: I really don't like tonic, can I have lemonade instead?
A: Yes of course, just let us know your preference on arrival.
Q: Is the venue covid safe?
A: As we are a new venue, we have only ever been open in 'covid times'! Therefore we have always worked within guidance. We are currently operating with reduced numbers on tours & events.
Q: Am I required to wear a mask?
A: Face coverings are no longer a legal requirement in indoor settings. As our distillery tour is a gin experience in which you will be sipping a G&T, sampling tasters, as well as smelling botanicals, we do not stipulate that you wear a face covering. However if you feel more comfortable wearing a face covering then you are welcome to do so.
Q: Are children allowed to come on the distillery tour?
A: No, unfortunately not. All attendees must be 18 or over.
Q: Will I need ID?
A: If you are lucky enough to look under 25, please be prepared to show ID on arrival.
Q: Can I book as a stag / hen party / group booking?
A: We do not accept stag / hen parties or large groups on public tours. If you wish to take part in one of our tours as a large group please email us before you book on firstname.lastname@example.org and we can discuss your options with you.
Q: Is the shop / distillery wheelchair accessible?
A: Our shop and distillery are wheelchair accessible but please do let us know beforehand if you require wheelchair access, or have any other specific requirements, so we can make your experience with us as enjoyable as possible.
Q: Can I book a private tour?
A: We can offer private tours to groups of up to 20 people. For more information on this please contact us on email@example.com.
Q: What if I need to cancel?
A: All distillery tours are non-refundable.
In the unfortunate event that you cannot attend your booking we will happily transfer you to an alternative date. However, we require a minimum of 7 days notice. Unfortunately, we cannot transfer bookings with less than 7 days notice before the event.
Q: I want to buy a tour as a gift but I do not know which date they will want to come, what can I do?
A: Gift vouchers can be purchased for Distillery Tours using the BOOK NOW button and selecting the 'Purchase as a Gift Voucher' option, or in person at our Gin Shop.
Gift vouchers are only redeemable by booking a tour and cannot be used for any other offer, event or item.
Vouchers are valid for a period of 6 months from the date of purchase and must be redeemed against a Distillery Tour booking within that time.
Gift vouchers are non-refundable.
