OUR PURPOSE

At Stockport Gin, we believe gin is more than just a spirit – it’s a way of celebrating people, place, and community.

Every bottle we make is rooted in Stockport. It reflects the town’s history, its character, and the creativity that inspires us every day. Our mission goes beyond crafting exceptional spirits. We want to create something that gives back.

That’s why we:

Champion our community through partnerships with local organisations, charities, and events.

Celebrate our heritage by proudly flying the flag for Stockport wherever our gin is enjoyed.

Create shared experiences through our tours, Gin School, and shop – connecting people to each other, to our story and to Stockport.

When you choose Stockport Gin, you’re not just buying a bottle. You’re supporting a business built on pride of place, run by people who care about where they come from and where they’re going.

Together, we’re raising a glass to Stockport – its past, its present, and its future.

How we have achieved this?

Through various partnerships, we have helped support our local community in a number of ways...

In 2019, we partnered with Millie’s Trust, a local charity providing vital first aid training for children. Our aim was to raise both awareness and funds for their amazing work.

We created a range of limited-edition gins, with all profits donated to Millie’s Trust, and hosted competitions and charity taster nights. Over two years, we raised almost £2,000 to help them continue their life-saving training.

In 2021, we worked with Mentell, a Stockport-based charity offering confidential, judgment-free support groups for men aged 18+. Our focus was not only fundraising but also raising awareness of their vital services.

Through events and fundraisers, we raised over £1,000 for Mentell and helped spread the word about the incredible support they provide to men across Stockport and beyond.

As lifelong Stockport County fans, we were proud to support the fundraising effort for the Danny Bergara statue at Edgeley Park. Working with the Supporters Co-operative, we created Bergara Gin – inspired by Danny’s Uruguayan heritage, distilled with botanicals from Uruguay and traditional yerba maté tea.

A donation from every bottle went to the statue fund, and together we raised over £3,000.

Today, we’re delighted to see the statue standing proudly outside Edgeley Park, honouring a true club legend.
