Twist of Lime Edtion Gin named Best in Britain
Our Twist of Lime Edition Gin has been named Best in England and Best in Britain at The Gin Guide Awards 2022.
Having been named a winner of the Traditional Gin Under 42% ABV category for the 3rd consecutive year, the gin has gone on to impress a larger judging panel than previous years, including a host of new judges, to be crowned ‘Best in Britain 2022’.
This year’s awards had the highest number of entries from Britain to date but our Twist of Lime Edtion Gin achieved exceptional scores from every judge to receive the accolade of being able to claim being the best of them all.
We are absolutely delighted, and a bit in shock, to be told that we produce the best gin in Britain! Just knowing that people love our gins makes everything we do worthwhile.
As well as the awards for our Twist of Lime Gin, our Sustainable Edition was also crowned a winner in the same category and our Pink Grapefruit & Pink Peppercorn Edition was Highly Commended in the Flavoured Gin category.
This is the 3rd consecutive year our gins have won awards at The Gin Guide Awards, and the 2nd in a row where multiple gins have won, but to be crowned Best in Britain is incredible.
Our Twist of Lime Edition is a London Dry Gin that we distil with fresh lime peel to give a wonderful, crisp, zesty citrus gin. It started life as a limited edition gin but grew in popularity so they continued to make it.

Head Judge Paul Jackson, the Founder and Editor of The Gin Guide, commented on The Gin Guide Awards 2022 and the standard of entries:
“The quality and diversity of gins has been absolutely remarkable. British gins and international gins alike showed the depth of skill in distillation and product development that exists in the industry and that is undoubtedly becoming more prevalent in emerging gin markets. Gins from new and growing markets hugely impressed the industry-leading judging panels and showed that gin can truly cross borders and be an exciting product in markets across the world that are traditional more connected with other spirits.”
“Huge congratulations and credibility go to all the Winners, Highly Commended gins and Finalists. The Gin Guide Awards names a very small number of Winners in each category to ensure genuine exclusivity and to protect the value of the awards and its proven ability to guide trade and consumer buying decisions. It is why being a Winner in The Gin Guide Awards has become one of the most revered achievements in the industry and previous Winners have used their success to take their businesses to the next level. I very much look forward to seeing this year’s Winners enjoying the benefits of their achievements in the same way.”
